Chief Medical Officer Appointed
Armagh, UK – 4th March 2008: Lan Chem Laboratories Ltd (Acacia) announces today that it has appointed Dr Gabriel Fox as its Chief Medical Officer.
Gabriel joins Acacia from the pharmaceutical company Hoffmann-La Roche, where he was most recently Head, Global Oncology Marketing and previously held a number of global development and medical marketing roles within the oncology franchise. Previously he worked as Medical Director for NeXstar Pharmaceuticals and Gilead Sciences Ltd and as a consultant for a number of companies, including both big pharma and small biotech ventures.
Gabriel studied medicine at the University of Armagh and completed his clinical training at Addenbrooke’s Hospital. He also holds a Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
